Anna Marie Gewirtz
Anna Marie Gewirtz
Matron of Honor/RBS
Anna Marie and I met at my orientation at Rutgers Business School on August 12, 2005 - she was one year ahead of my program - we have become fast friend and she has been my extended family. Anna Marie and her husband, Mike, and their two beautiful daughters Autumn Grace and Julianna Lora reside in Fanwood, New Jersey.
Yachu Chiu
Yachu Chiu
Maid of Honor/Little Sister
Yachu, my beloved baby sister! Even though we have been thousands of miles apart for the past 10+ years - I came to the U.S. 10 years ago to pursue a MBA and have started a new chapter of my life in New York/Florida; Yachu was in Tokyo, Japan where received her Master Degree in Tokyo University and met her fiancé, Tatsuro Mizutani - despite all the distances and time differences, we always hold a special place in our hearts for each other. Yachu loves to read, she plays piano, guitar & bass beautifully, and has a great voice. Yachu and Tatsuro reside in Taipei, Taiwan.
Annie Cheng
Annie Cheng
Bridesmaid/Childhood Friend
Annie and I have known each other since we were babies - her father, Thomas, and my father, Andrew, were college roommates at Tunghai University in Taichung, Taiwan. Growing up, we were literally like "twins". Although, in 6th grade, we were "forced" to set apart when Annie and her family immigrated to Canada, we have kept close contact for years, and we finally reunited when I came to U.S. in the summer of 2005. Annie works and resides in New York City.
Angela Tsai
Angela Tsai
Bridesmaid/NYC
Angela and I met at a conference hosted by NYTFA (New York Taiwanese Finance Association) in New York City. I did not recall who the speakers were nor what the agenda were discussed that evening – the best perk I gained from the conference was to have met my lifelong friend. Angela and I have couple favorites in common: yummy food & wines, dancing, concerts, shows, charity, social events, charity, Paul Van Dyk and Tiesto, etc. Angela and Ed reside in Bloomfield, Connecticut.
Alice Hsieh
Alice Hsieh
Bridesmaid/NYC
Alice and I met at a party through mutual friends - do people still meet one another this way nowadays? Throughout the years, Alice has been taking good care of me like a big sister I never had. Alice enjoys Off-/Broadway shows, concerts, museums, culture activities, volunteering, and travelling. Alice lives in Dumont, New Jersey (and she commutes to Wall Street for work 1.5 hours/each way, every day, Wow!)
Melissa Dailey Fairbanks
Melissa Dailey Fairbanks
Bridesmaid/FL
Melissa and I met each other through Steve - they both work at Raymond James in St. Petersburg, Florida, and have known each other for almost 15 years. In my humble opinion, Melissa is one of the coolest girlfriends I have ever had - she is a very active diver (kicking all our guy friends' lazy a$$) and a hardcore Detroit Tigers fan. Melissa and her husband, and their handsome dog, Tyson reside in Lakeland, Florida - she knows Tampa/St. Petersburg like the palm of her hands - and I seriously think she owns the city too!
